Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Myth Upload handles information when users authorize the application to access their YouTube accounts through Google's OAuth 2.0 system.

1. Information Accessed

Myth Upload may access information necessary to identify an authorized YouTube channel and upload or manage videos on behalf of the user.

Access is granted only after the user explicitly authorizes Myth Upload through Google's official OAuth consent process.

2. Google Account Passwords

Myth Upload does not request, collect, store, or have access to Google account passwords.

3. OAuth Tokens

OAuth access and refresh tokens may be stored locally on the user's computer so that Myth Upload can perform authorized YouTube operations without requiring the user to sign in again for every upload.

These tokens are not intentionally shared with third parties.

4. Use of YouTube Data

YouTube account access is used only for functions requested by the user, including identifying authorized channels, uploading videos, adding video metadata, and scheduling publication.

5. Data Sharing

Myth Upload does not sell Google user data or YouTube account information.

User data is not used for advertising purposes.

6. Local Application Data

Myth Upload may store local application information such as upload history, video metadata, configuration settings, and account authorization tokens on the user's own computer.

7. Revoking Access

Users may revoke Myth Upload's Google account access at any time through their Google Account security and third-party access settings.

8. Google API Services

Myth Upload uses Google API Services and the YouTube Data API. Use of information received from Google APIs is limited to providing the features requested by the authorized user.

9. Changes to This Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated when Myth Upload features or integrations change. The latest version will be published on this page.

10. Contact

For privacy or authorization questions, users may contact the developer through the support email displayed on the Google OAuth consent screen.
